About This Neighborhood

West Bay Club is a gated community of approximately 868 acres in Estero, set west of US 41 at Williams Road with the Estero River along its northern edge. Twelve distinct neighborhoods sit inside the gates, ranging from high rise condominiums with bay and Gulf views to coach homes, villas and custom estate homes.

Members share an 18 hole championship course, the Bay House with its resort pool and fitness center, eight Har-Tru clay tennis courts, six pickleball courts and two bocce courts. A private beach club on Little Hickory Island, rebuilt and reopened in 2024, and a River Park with a boat launch on the Estero River give the community both river and Gulf access.

A Day in West Bay Club

On the Course

The 18 hole championship course was designed by Pete and P.B. Dye in 1998 and renovated by Fry/Straka, reopening for play in November 2018. The club is managed by Troon Prive, and golf membership is an upgrade rather than a requirement of ownership.

West Bay Club sits west of US 41 at Williams Road in Estero, with the Estero River running along its northern boundary. River Park carries a boat launch, kayak and canoe storage and a shuttle down to the community's private beach club on Little Hickory Island near Bonita Beach.

The Bay House anchors day to day life with the resort pool, the Aqua Cafe and a Technogym fitness center, joined by a separate poolside fitness building. The Golf House adds a dining room, the Signature Bar and the Niblick grille, and the Sports Park holds the tennis, pickleball and bocce courts.
