Why Bay Crest

Bay Crest sits inside Pelican Landing, the roughly 2,365-acre gated community WCI Communities began developing in 1989 west of US 41. Its roughly 90 attached villas were built through the mid-1990s as a maintenance-free option, set around a neighborhood pool and spa. Bay Crest, which the local MLS records as Baycrest, is not Bay Creek, the separate custom-estate neighborhood.

Floor plans here generally run from about 2,000 to 3,000 square feet, most with attached garages, screened lanais, and lake or garden views. Bay Crest appeals to buyers who want a lock-and-leave villa in a gated, amenity-rich community without the upkeep of a larger single-family home.
