Why Longlake

Longlake sits inside Pelican Landing, the roughly 2,365-acre gated community that WCI Communities began developing in 1989 west of US 41 on Estero Bay. Its approximately 147 single-family homes were built mainly in the mid-1990s along quiet streets, many on estate-size lots that back to water or the Heron Marsh South preserve.

Homes here generally run from about 2,200 to 3,800 square feet in classic Florida and Mediterranean styles, most with private pools and screened lanais. Pelican Landing residents share a 34-acre private beach park on Big Hickory Island, reached by a 12-minute community shuttle boat across Estero Bay, plus a 12-court Har-Tru tennis center, a sailing center, kayaking and canoeing on Spring Creek, and a 14,900-square-foot community center with a fitness studio and resort-style pool.
