Why Bay Cedar

Bay Cedar sits inside Pelican Landing, the roughly 2,365-acre gated community that WCI Communities began developing in 1989 west of US 41 on Estero Bay. Its roughly 65 single-family homes were built in the late 1990s, with some homesites backing to Spring Creek and its preserve.

Homes here generally run from about 1,500 to 2,500 square feet, most with private pools and screened lanais, in a comfortable mid-size range. Bay Cedar offers single-family living at a more approachable price than Pelican Landing larger estate neighborhoods, while sharing the same gated amenities.

On Spring Creek

Several of Bay Cedar homes back to Spring Creek and its preserve, giving residents a quiet, natural backdrop. Streets connect easily to the rest of the community, minutes from Pelican Landing beach park shuttle, tennis center, and marina.

Pelican Landing residents share a 34-acre private beach park on Big Hickory Island, reached by a 12-minute community shuttle boat across Estero Bay, plus a 12-court Har-Tru tennis center, a sailing center, kayaking and canoeing on Spring Creek, and a 14,900-square-foot community center with a fitness studio and resort-style pool. The Nest golf club, with two Tom Fazio championship courses, is a separate, optional membership.

Pelican Landing sits west of US 41, so Coconut Point, the Gulf beaches at Bonita and Barefoot, downtown Bonita Springs, and Southwest Florida International Airport are all a short drive away.
