Why Altaira
Completed in 2017, Altaira is the newest of The Colony's WCI high rises, and was the community's newest tower until Ronto's Infinity opened in 2026. The tower rises 21 stories at 4800 Pelican Colony Boulevard, about 75 residences, four per floor. Every plan is a three bedroom plus den; the largest run 3,315 to 3,573 square feet.
Built to the strengthened Florida building codes adopted after 2002, Altaira pairs modern construction with a rooftop terrace, an infinity edge resort pool, and two under-building parking spaces per residence. A concierge, fitness center, social and gathering rooms, and guest suites round out the tower, all inside the gated Colony enclave with Estero Bay and Gulf views.
