Why Whiskey Creek

Whiskey Creek is one of Fort Myers’ classic established neighborhoods, built out in the 1970s era between McGregor Boulevard and Summerlin Road in South Fort Myers. Expect ranch style homes, generous lots, and mature landscaping instead of cookie cutter streets, and no gatehouse between you and your errands.

The name comes first: legend has it the nearby creek was a bootleggers’ route in the Prohibition days. Today the centerpiece is Whiskey Creek Country Club, an 18-hole par 60 executive course built in 1974 that is open to the public, with optional memberships for those who want the full club calendar.
