About Rusty

Bruce "Rusty" Van Buskirk grew up in Orleans on Cape Cod, where a childhood of sailing and surfing built a lifelong love of coastal living. He graduated from Wentworth Institute with a degree in Architectural Engineering in 1972 and began selling real estate across New England and the Canadian Atlantic provinces that same decade. From there he built a career in land development, resource management and the timber industry. Real estate, land and construction have been his working life for more than four decades.

Naples by Choice

Rusty's family began vacationing in Naples in the 1980s, and for years it was their seasonal escape from northern winters. In 2012 he made it permanent, earning his Florida real estate license and turning his full attention to helping buyers and sellers across Naples, Bonita Springs and Estero. He knows firsthand what it means to choose Southwest Florida, because he did exactly that.
