Why Lakemont Cove

Lakemont Cove sits inside Pelican Landing, the roughly 2,365-acre gated community WCI Communities began developing in 1989 west of US 41. Built around 1992 on a peninsula reaching into a community lake, its roughly 124 condos are among the oldest condo enclaves in mainland Pelican Landing. Lakemont Cove is separate from Lakemont, the single-family neighborhood near the main gate.

Floor plans here generally run from about 1,300 to 1,800 square feet, many with screened lanais and wide lake views. Lakemont Cove offers an easy, low-maintenance way into Pelican Landing at an approachable price, popular with seasonal residents who want water views without a single-family home upkeep.

Lakemont Cove wraps a lake peninsula, so many homes look out over the water on more than one side. Residents are a short drive from the beach park shuttle, tennis center, and community center inside Pelican Landing.
