Why Palm Colony

Palm Colony is a coach-home neighborhood inside Pelican Landing, the roughly 2,365-acre gated community WCI Communities began developing in 1989 west of US 41. Its approximately 120 coach homes were built in the mid-1990s in low, two-story buildings. Despite the name, Palm Colony is part of mainland Pelican Landing, not the separate gated Colony section.

Homes here run from about 1,800 to 2,200 square feet with attached garages, screened lanais, and golf, lake, or preserve views. The neighborhood has two community pools and a clubhouse and sits within walking distance of the Har-Tru tennis center, which keeps it popular with active, seasonal buyers.
